This page highlights the digital tools I regularly use to support student learning, engagement, and independence.

Engagement & Gamification

Kahoot

I use Kahoot primarily for math skill practice and review during whole-group instruction. It allows students to review concepts in an engaging, low-pressure way while giving me immediate feedback to check understanding, identify misconceptions, and adjust my instruction as needed.

GimKit

Gimkit supports student motivation and strategic thinking by combining content practice with game mechanics. I use it often in my classroom for review and reinforcement. It is a  great tool for allowing students to work independently or collaboratively.

Assessment & Feedback

Google Forms

I use Google Forms to create daily check-ins, quick checks for understanding, and reflections. It allows me to gather student responses efficiently and use the data to inform instruction and provide timely feedback.

Seesaw

Seesaw supports student reflection, creativity, and communication. I use it for digital assignments, student journals, and feedback, allowing students to demonstrate learning in multiple ways while building independence and ownership.

Creation & Collaboration

Canva

I use Canva as a teacher design tool to create presentations, newsletters, mini-lessons, anchor charts, and homework pages. It helps me design visually clear and engaging instructional materials that support student understanding.

Padlet

Padlet supports collaboration and student voice by providing a shared space for responses, ideas, and problem-solving. I use it to encourage discussion, reflection, and the sharing of thinking in a low-pressure digital environment.

Instructional Design & Innovation

Google Classroom

Google Classroom helps me organize instruction, distribute assignments, and communicate with students. It provides a consistent digital space where students can access materials, submit work, and stay organized.

Nearpod

Nearpod allows me to design interactive lessons that keep students actively engaged during instruction. I use it to embed questions, checks for understanding, and collaborative activities into lessons while monitoring student progress in real time.
